Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Polytimer collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Information you provide

Polytimer does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use any feature of the app. If you contact us via the Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

Automatically collected information

We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (no personally identifiable information) to understand aggregate usage patterns such as page views and country of origin. No cross-site tracking is performed.

Local storage

Polytimer saves your timer settings (theme preference, sound preferences, saved timers) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

2. Cookies

Polytimer does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. A minimal session cookie may be set by the hosting provider for standard web infrastructure purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Polytimer loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, Google's servers may log your IP address per their own privacy policy. We do not use any advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics services.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Contact form submissions are retained only long enough to respond to your inquiry, then deleted. Your local browser data (localStorage) can be cleared at any time through your browser's settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Polytimer is a general-purpose tool appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Polytimer after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
