A 3 minute timer is a 180-second countdown used for tea steeping, egg timing, short exercise rounds, and timed speaking drills. Start it with one click — the alarm plays the moment 3 minutes are up.
Enable Repeat to automatically restart the countdown — perfect for interval training or back-to-back sessions. Enable End Time to see the exact clock time your timer will finish.
Click the Countdown tab, type 3 in the minutes field, then press play or Space. The alarm sounds at the end of the 3 minutes.
Absolutely. Start the timer when you pour the water. The alarm tells you exactly when to remove the tea bag — no over-steeping. Label it "Tea" so you know which timer is which if you're running multiple.
Polytimer includes 5 alarm tones: Chime, Piano, Bell, Xylophone, and Beep. Open the Sounds drawer and choose your preferred alert tone. Bell and Chime are popular for kitchen use.
